The 2018 Cookie Concert presented by Publix Super Markets Charities will celebrate Autism Awareness month with special guest Jacob Velazquez, a piano prodigy diagnosed with a high-functioning form of autism.

Arrive early for the Instrument Petting Zoo from Carlton Music Center and a sound wave demonstration with Mr. Iskra!

Admission is free, and everyone gets a Publix cookie and juice after the concert! Allergen-friendly cookies available.

Immediately following the Cookie Concert, Jacob Velazquez and his piano teacher Giselle Broadsky will offer a workshop to musical performance, music education and education students from Florida Southern College, Southeastern University and Polk State College.

Broadsky is the co-founder of the Miami International Piano Festival and has trained extensively on in the Taubman Approach to piano technique since 1972.
